Nawazuddin Siddiqui Agreed To Do Mom Because Of Sridevi

Sridevi’s upcoming movie, Mom, is making waves. Firstly, it would be the actress’s first movie after English Vinglish which released in 2012 and secondly it will feature talented actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui. It is the first time that Nawaz and Sridevi are working together in a movie. And Nawaz can’t stop singing praising for his co-star.

Recently, in an interview the Badlapur actor said that one of the reasons that he decided to work in the film is because of sharing screen space with the Hawa Hawaii actress. “When I was approached for the film I just couldn’t refuse as it was an opportunity to act with Sridevi,” Nawaz told PTI. Recently, the look of Nawaz from the film was released and people are all praise for his quirky look from the film.

The poster showed Nawaz half bald wearing a kurta teamed up with a Nehru jacket. He looks menacing wearing specs with his two front teeth popping out. About his look from the movie, Nawaz said, “I am happy to see this new look of mine in the film. The film gave me an opportunity to do something different and look so different.” Mom is a crime thriller and also stars Akshaye Khanna, Abhimanyu Singh and Pitobash Tripathy in prominent roles. The flick is scheduled to hit the theatres on July 7 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
