No film debut for Sachin’s daughter

Rumours of ex-cricketer Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter, Sara Tendulkar, making her Bollywood debut, have created a lot of buzz. It was reported that, with her famous father mingling with Bollywood folk, it was only a matter of time before the teenager was offered a film. A recent report added that the project in question would co-star Shahid Kapoor. 

But a source close to the Tendulkars vehemently denies this news, saying, “There has been no such offer, nor has she signed any project. Sara is busy with her academics and is focusing on that right now.” She is in the 12th standard at the moment. 

The source adds, “There were too many queries about this false news and that got the family unnecessary attention. She isn’t interested in doing movies.” Sachin, too, tweeted to deny the news. He wrote, “My daughter Sara is enjoying her academic pursuits. Annoyed at all the baseless speculation about her joining films (sic).”
