The showman of Hindi cinema, Subhash Ghai, has been fighting the WhistlingWoods Internationals land acquittal case, denying any political connections. After the verdictannounced by the Supreme Court on April 4, Ghai said that he was not favoured by Ex-Chief MinisterVilasrao Deshmukh. "I have no political connections. I am interested in imparting education, our focusis to spread knowledge, we are not part of politics or anything of that sort. I have no knowledge of whathappens in the world of politics, I have no connections with it," Ghai said. He also stated, I have thehighest regard for judiciary, I respect the law. It is unfortunate that this thing happened with no faultof ours. I am sure a door will open. Whatever we did, was with honesty. We are sure that somewhere,somehow government will look into it, they will find out a way. I appeal to them to look into it. Furtheradding to it, he told that the institute had enrolled students until 2014.
