Raza Murad Shares His Look From Padmavati...But Later Deletes It!

Raza Murad is back at playing the formidable old monarch in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next Padmavati The actor much like his fans seems proud to have a role as Sultan Jalaluddin Khilji in the film and shared the happy news with a picture of his look

However the way he deleted the picture soon after uploading it we assume he wasn’t really supposed to share it. Thankfully, the internet was quick enough to take some screenshots.

“This is my look in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati. I am playing Jalaluddin Khilji who was the first ruler of Khilji dynasty in India. He ruled India (1290-1296) for six years and was killed by his paternal nephew and son in law, Alauddin Khilji, who took over the throne after killing his uncle and father in law- Ranveer Singh has played Allaudin Khilji. Deepika Padukone plays the titular role of Padmavati and Shahid Kapoor plays Rawal Ratan Singh, the ruler of Chittor, Deepika’s husband. The film would be released on 1st December, all over the world,” he wrote with the post.

In the picture, he can be seen adorned in dark fur, a massive stone on his turban and a necklace to go with his look. He also sports a thick beard, that is made red with an overuse of henna.

Murad has previously worked with Bhansali in Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela, Bajirao Mastani.

The three lead actors -- Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh’s -- looks in the film were released over the last week through three sets of double character posters. Check them out:
