Prem Ratan Dhan Payo Becomes The Highest Opener!
Prem Ratan Dhan Payo has witnessed a historic opening at the box office. The film has managed to collect Rs. 40.35 crore on day one itself. The film has emerged to become the highest opener on a holiday.
With a whopping 40.35 crores, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo has broken the records set by other Diwali releases like Chennai express (30.48 crores) and Happy New Year (36.31 crores). The movie has hit new opening day records in Mumbai, Delhi / UP, East Punjab, Rajasthan, Bihar and Assam.
Even though the movie recovered most of it's cost before it's release, the advance booking has just contributed in the same. The strong word of mouth surrounding the film and Salman Khan's star power is only expected to contribute to the growth of the film.
