Raanjhanaa official trailer out; celebrates colours of love

The much-anticipated film by director Aanand L. Rai,Raanjhanaastarring Sonam Kapoor, Dhanush and Abhay Deol in lead roles has launched its first official trailer finally. Set in Varanasi, Dhanush, who would debut in Bollywood withRaanjhanaa, and Sonam Kapoor play star-crossed lovers as Dhanush is seen to be in love with this girl since his childhood days.

Though his approaches used to fail repeatedly, Dhanush’s love for Sonam stayed undying even till he reached his adulthood. Then the entry of Abhay Deol into the love-story creates a twist in the tale, where Abhay plays an aspiring CM in love with Sonam. As Abhay dreams of becoming PM one day, he boastfully approaches his lady-love saying,“Shaadi karogi toh life 9 Race Course Road mein kategi.”Sonam is a small-town girl, quite confused about her inner feelings. While bikerides are more enjoyable with Abhay Deol, she celebrates colours of Holi livelier with Dhanush. All the stars look quite promising in the first trailer ofRaanjhanaa, which seems to be a story of heartbreaks and tender love.

The romantic love triangleRaanjhanaais all set to hit the theatres on June 21.
