Exclusive: Ranbir On Rishi Kapoor, "He speaks his mind and I think that’s really good!"

We met Ranbir Kapoor during the promotions of Tamasha and the terrific actor spilled beans on joining Twitter and his father chintskap's Twitter activities.

We asked him when will he join Twitter and here's what he had to say, "I don’t know, may be tomorrow, day after, next year, I don’t know. Right now I’ve kept away from the temptation, but I’ve never said never!"

"I’m very aware of social media!" he said and  Deepika who was also present there, interrupted and said, “The other day I was putting up a tweet, and he told me use this emoji, use this one.”

Ranbir continued, "I’ve spoken about this a lot. Social media has become such a big platform today and especially in the field of films that we come from, it’s very important to be relevant on such a platform. Hopefully I can muster some courage and come on it. Right now I’m not on it because I feel against it. I’m just not on it because I feel less confident about it."

Rishi Kapoor is pretty vocal on social media on which Ranbir has this take: "He’s been like that since I was born. He always invites trouble at home with my mother so I didn’t … (Deepika interrupts and says, I’m sorry he’s very entertaining!”)" He further added, "He speaks his mind and I think that’s the really good thing about him. Unfortunately, in this country you can’t speak your mind. Anything you say is misconstrued and especially if you’re an actor and if you say something, every thought, every picture has so much of interpretation that it’s hard. But I don’t think he really cares about it and he’s going to continue speaking his mind."
