Randeep Hooda Devastated After Losing His Friend To Cancer

Randeep Hooda who is busy shooting for his upcoming Sarabjit Singh’s biopic, is inconsolable to lose his beloved friend from youth, Mario Mingdou Chung, to cancer. The actor says that he couldn’t believe it when he first heard about Mario. “I thought he was pulling my leg, it was a joke. He had battled cancer, beat addiction, overcome so many problems, he couldn't just up and go”, said the Kick star.

While talking to Mumbai Mirror, Hooda revealed, “We met when we were 17 and did everything together for six years. He dropped me at the Melbourne airport when I was leaving Australia. I hadn't seen him in 15 years but we were in touch”.

He added, “We spoke on Thursday and the last thing he said was, 'I love you Hooda.' I replied, 'Me too, see you soon.' On Friday, he called me around three-four times, but I was busy with the shoot. I thought I'd connect once I was back at the hotel but it was too late. On Saturday night I couldn't stop shivering, I had a premonition that something bad had happened, it was bizarre!”.
