Ranveer Singh not to be directed by Aditya Chopra

Band Baaja Baarat actor Ranveer Singh was rumoured to have replaced Shahrukh Khan in an upcoming YRF project but the 28-year-old has denied the authenticity of any such report. The actor said, "It is not true, but I wish it was. Being directed by Adi sir in a movie would be a dream come true for me."

Ranveer got acclaims from his very first flick Band Baaja Baarat and now he is giving back-to-back hits with Ladies vs Ricky Bahl, Lootera and Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela. His forthcoming ventures Gunday and Kill Dill are highly awaited by the audience. Ranveer shares screen space with Arjun Kapoor in Gunday and the film’s songs have topped the charts. Priyanka Chopra is playing the female lead opposite the two lead actors. Kill Dill directed by Shaad Ali, is under production stage and will release on September 5.
