Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is presently out on his Temptation Reloaded tour and has been warmly received by New Zealand Prime Minister John Key on Thursday night. He was welcomed traditionally by the country head and was also gifted with an official New Zealand Black Caps cricket shirt acknowledging his love for the game.

The hosts of the welcome ceremony were thanked by the Bollywood superstar for the heart-touching gesture and at the event he also recalled his previous visit to the country which happened 12 years ago. He also said his son would be very pleased to see the Black Caps shirt, as he is a huge fan of the same. SRK is pretty enthusiastic about the tour which has been organised by Limelight Entertainment. The tour also includes names like Madhuri Dixit, Rani Mukerji, Jacqueline Fernandez, Yo Yo Honey Singh and Meiyang Chang who will join him on the stage.

Shah Rukh showed interest in New Zealand as a potential film location and his choice was also welcomed by Prime Minister Key, who holds the tourism portfolio. A co-production agreement between India and New Zealand already exists and in recent two years two Bollywood films have been shot extensively in the picturesque country, I Hate Luv Storys and Players. All Indian cricket fans have also been invited by the New Zealand PM to visit the country during January-February 2014 when the Indian national cricket team will be touring the country, followed by the Cricket World Cup in 2015. If Bollywood uses New Zealand landscapes again as their films’ backdrops, the country’s tourism industry will definitely benefit a lot and this fact has also been identified by Tourism New Zealand.
