HT Palate Fest Day 3: Shilpa Shetty And Raftaar Charm The Audience!

As smog has already begun to clear in Delhi, people were super excited to attend the final day of the Hindustan Times Palate Fest. And why not, the fest had the saved the best for the last! The final day saw an enlightening session from none other than Bollywood celebrity Shilpa Shetty and then the audience was left spellbound with the super energetic performance by Raftaar!

Shilpa Shetty arrived at evening and discussed at length about food and health. She said that we should enjoy the food that we eat and that we should really note what we put into our mouths. She also talked about how we need to make use of the food available in India instead of running towards exotic food items. For example, she said she absolutely loves ghee and would not even touch olive oil! She also pointed out on the necessity to teach kids about junk food and told advised the audience never to offer junk food as rewards to kids!

Since yesterday was a Sunday, the ‘ Dhadkan ’ actress also indulged in her ritualistic ‘Sunday Binge’. She had everything right from the food fest. Starting from Golgappe to Biriyani to Jalebi Rabri, the actress savored it all! She also taught the audience a simple tip to relax before bidding adieu!

After some solid performances by Band Rocknama and a war of the bartenders, the stage was taken over by Raftaar. The crowd went into a frenzy as the rapper made a dhamakedaar entry.

He charmed the audience with his favorites like Swag Mera Desi, Bandook Meri Laila from A Gentleman and Punjabi numbers like All Black and Baby Marvake Manegi. He also showed off some of his amazing dance moves on stage.

All’s well that ends well. And the biggest food and music festival, HT Palate Fest, definitely ended on a high note. We just can’t wait for it to come back again!
