Shraddha Kapoor to star in Rock On 2?

Written and directed by Abhishek Kapoor, the rock musical film which released in 2008 marks the successful Bollywood debut of Farhan Akhtar and Prachi Desai. The film which opened to a good response reportedly won seven Filmfare awards.  According to the latest reports, its sequence titled Rock On 2 will have the same bunch of actors- Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal and Purab Kohli. Interestingly, beautiful actress Shraddha Kapoor has also been roped in to play the lead role in the film.

Shraddha has lent her melodious voice in Ek Villain and we assume that the gorgeous actress will be singing again. While talking to a leading English daily, the actress confirms, "I am extremely excited to be a part of Rock On 2. I am a big fan of the first part and love the character I am playing in the sequel. It is a role that involves singing and live performances and that very few roles give you the chance to do.''
