Smriti Irani joins the crew of All Is Well, resumes shooting

With what has been the most eventful time in Smriti Irani’s life, the Honourable HRD Minister softly resumed fulfilling her acting commitments. Smriti who’s part of Director’s Umesh Shukla’s All Is well joined the crew in Himachal and resumed work.

Filmmaker who has previously directed the very successful OMG – Oh My God! is currently shooting his next, the cast of which involves Abhishek Bachchan, Asin, Rishi Kapoor and Smriti. The former television queen had already shot a major chunk of the movie before the elections began but the director rules out any sort of delay because of her. “Even while Smriti Irani was contesting the elections she was very co-operative and professional. We never had to cancel a day’s shooting because of her. Even now when she’s a minister she has made no re-adjustments in the dates. She joins us as per schedule.”says a very excited Shukla. Smriti is reportedly playing Rishi’s wife and has a major role. Umesh however said that the makers in anyway do not want to encash the image and profile that Smriti now carries. They want to be true to their script and continue working. The OMG director also rained showers of praises over Irani on every count. Describing her role he also said Smriti was very co-operative and understanding. The film is scheduled to release next year while the director prepares for his next with Big B and Paresh Rawal.
