Sonakshi Sinha expresses her wish to reprise Rekha’s Khoon Bhari Maang character

Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha, who has come a long way in Bollywood through blockbusters like Dabangg, Rowdy Rathore and Lootera, would love to reprise the character played by Rekha in her 1988 film Khoon Bhari Maang, as wished by the actress herself.

The actress also thinks that a remake of the film will be really an amazing one. Sonakshi said, "Rekha's character in 'Khoon Bhari Maang' is one role which I would like to play. It would be amazing to remake it now. It's like a girl taking revenge and it's not negative though.” Director Rakesh Roshan’s film, Khoon Bhari Maang, revolved around a woman who is revengeful towards his cruel husband who tried to murder her. The film also starred Kabir Bedi and Shatrughan Sinha. The actress also admitted that she is ready for experimental roles once she is confident about the same. "If a role comes to me and if I believe that I would be comfortable portraying, I would love to do it. My father started off with a negative role and then he became a hero so why not. I would like to do something like that but I should like the script," Sonakshi added.
