Sonakshi’s film with AR Murugadoss titled ‘Akira’

While we had brought you the news about Sonakshi’s film with director AR Murugadoss going on the floors yesterday, we now have the title of the film. The women centric thriller drama is titled ‘Akira’.

Given the female oriented theme of the film, it looks like Sonakshi’s playing the title role here. The film went on floors yesterday and a working picture with the clap board was made public. Akira would be the first project to bring Sonakshi and her father Shatrughan Sinha together on screen as he happens to make a brief appearance in the film. The film is expected to release by the end of this year and will have Anurag Kashyap play the villain.
