Sonam Kapoor shoots despite injury

Bollywood diva Sonam Kapoor, who was recently hospitalised for a respiratory infection, was back on her feet in no time and travelled to Karjat, near Mumbai to shoot a special Rajasthani song for Sooraj Barjatya's film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo that also stars Salman Khan. During the shoot, Sonam slipped and fell down, hurting herself badly. However, this did not deter the Khoobsurat star from continuing to shoot, says a source from the sets.

"Sonam was shooting for the special puppet-themed song for three nights in Karjat, when she met with a bad injury. She slipped and fell down, and ended up hurting her legs and bruising her ankles," says the source, adding, "The song sees Sonam in a voluminous Rajasthani lehenga with heavy silver jewellery which was exhausting in itself. Despite the injury, Sonam decided to continue shooting for the song so that the cast and crew could wrap up on time and the planned schedule is not disrupted."
The source further adds that the crew was all praise for Sonam and her professional attitute with which she pulled off the song off without an ounce of discomfort showing on her face. The actor is back to Mumbai today and will finally get to rest and tend to her injury.
