Sorry To Disappoint, Amitabh Bachchan Isn’t A part Of Mohanlal’s Randamoozham

Ever since Mohanlal rolled out an announcement about his next project, Randamoozham, there have been lots of speculations surrounding the cast of the film. Rumours were rife that Amitabh Bachchan might play Bhishma in the film. Director Sreekumar himself talked about the possibilities of Big B being roped in for this big-budget project.

Putting an end to all the speculations, Amitabh’s spokesperson said, “We would like to deny this news and state that Mr Bachchan is in no capacity associated with or a part of the above-mentioned film directed by Mr Sreekumar. Any news or story reporting otherwise is false and incorrect.” This must have definitely disheartened the fans. Let’s see which actor bags the highly anticipated role.

Randamoozham is adapted from MT Vasudevan Nair’s novel with the same name. Following the path of Telugu super hit Baahubali, this film would be shot in two parts with a budget of a mammoth Rs 600 crores. If Amitabh Bachchan would have starred in Randamoozham, it would have been Mohanlal and Big B’s third project together, after Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag and 2010 film Kandahar, which was helmed by Major Ravi.
