Sushant Singh Rajput-Bhumi Pednekar Starrer Sone Chidaiya To Start Rolling From January 2018

Sushant Singh Rajput and Bhumi Pednekar are all set to work together for the first time in Abhishek Chaubey’s directorial venture which is tentatively titled Sone Chidaiya. The film is set in 1970’s in the Chambal belt which is notorious for being a home to dacoits. Apart from Sushant and Bhumi, the flick also stars Ashutosh Rana , Manoj Bajpayee and Ranvir Shorey .

“We are having script reading sessions for the whole team. Prep is on in full swing. The film is high on emotions and drama. There is a love story as well. We will start shoot from January 10, 2018,” revealed a source close to the project.

Abhishek is popular for making films which are set in small towns as it is evident with Ishqiya , Dedh Ishqiya and Udta Punjab . The movie will be shot in real locations of Morena and Bhind in Madhya Pradesh. In the 1970s, Madhya Pradesh’s Chambal Valley was popular for violence, thefts and gang wars. Ronnie Screwvala is backing the project.
