Sushant Singh Rajput Decides To Give An Award Show A Miss Because Of Ex-Girlfriend Ankita Lokhande

After dating for six years Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhnade broke up in 2016. Their break up came as a major shock to audience as well as to people from film and television. There have been numerous times when both have refused to talk about each other when asked in any interview.

Recently, the actor was invited to attend the Zee Rishtey Awards which were held last year, but he gave it a miss. This came as a shock to organisers since Sushant started his career with Zee TV’s popular show Pavitra Rishta. A lot of you might be guessing that the actor decided to give it a miss since he has become a big name in Bollywood. However, this is not the reason.

If reports are to be believed then the actor decided not to attend the function because of his ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande. According to reports in Mumbai Mirror, the organisers were planning to pay a tribute to all the hit past shows and actors including Pavitra Rishta. Sushant and Ankita were invited to collect their trophy together. The Kai Po Che did not want to confront Ankita, therefore decided to ditch the event. As a result Ankita had to go alone to receive the award.

Many celebrities present at the event were surprised by this conduct of Sushant since veteran actor Ashok Saraf too turned up at the event to collect the trophy for his famous show Hum Paanch.

But like other stars who remain amiable with their exes, this former couple too is very much in touch with each other. They share a good bond with each other. In fact, Sushant was the first person to know about Ankita’s Bollywood debut Manaikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. Earlier in an interview he also said that he is knows about Manaikarnika’s details but cannot divulge anything.
