Sylvester Stallone Is The Reason I Got Into Films, Says John Abraham

John Abraham has previously confessed that romantic films are not his cup of tea. The actor who is doing quite a lot of action film as of now, such as Rocky Handsome, Force 2 and Dishoom, seems to be turning out as the next action-hero of the industry. John Abraham recently revealed that action star Sylvester Stallone is the reason why he ventured into films.

The 43-year-old actor was quoted as saying, “Sylvester Stallone is the reason I got into films. I still remember being awestruck when I watched 'Rocky IV' on the big screen for the first time. I wanted to be like him, the underdog with a tough exterior and a soft heart”.

When asked if he wants to show his film ‘Rocky Handsome’ to the Hollywood star, he said, “I'd love to do that. For me, just him watching the film would be validation enough that I exist in this industry because of him”. He further said that stars like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Dwayne Johnson, Bruce Willis and Steven Seagal are also his idols, and added, “I love their attitude on screen, that's all that action is about”.
