Vidyut Jamwal Talks About Actors Learning Martial Arts

Known for his role in the 2013 film ‘Commando’, Vidyut Jamwal recently shared his thoughts on the actors who learn a martial art form for their films. He feels that such an art form cannot be learnt in that amount of time. The actor also revealed that he has been training for 30 years in martial arts.

Vidyut shared, “I’ve been training in martial arts for 30 years now. It’s funny when actors say that they are learning the fighting style for their film. I think, in that much time, they can just get a hold of the basic style which works for cinema”. Talking about the art form, he added, “It can be anything and not necessarily action. I feel this helps you discipline yourself and evolve as an actor”.

The 35-year-old actor also spoke about his routine and said, “Training has become a part of my life. I start my day at 4.30am with training, and then at 7.30am, I start shooting for my film. I guess, because I am used to it, it’s not difficult for me anymore”. Vidyut is currently working for his upcoming film, the sequel to ‘Commando’.
