Will Parineeti romance Saif in Jugalbandi?

Parineeti Chopra who had previously admitted of having a ‘crazy crush’ on Saif Ali Khan, might be seen romancing the nawab in the upcoming film Jugalbandi. The pair is likely to team up for the musical to be helmed by Sameer Sharma. The 26-year-old actress was given a narration of the script by the Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana director and her response was positive, a source revealed to Mumbai Mirror.

"Saif is plays a music agent in the film and Parineeti was recently approached to play his love interest. The duo has not acted in the past and that is precisely why the makers want to cast them. They will make a refreshingly gorgeous jodi onscreen", a source told Mumbai Mirror. "The film is likely to go on floors later this year", the source added.

When quizzed about Parineeti’s involvement in the film Jugalbandi, her spokesperson said, "At the moment, we can't comment on this. An announcement will be made once things are finalised". Parineeti and Saif were supposed to appear in Dinesh Vijan’s directorial debut last year, but the production of the film was halted when it was discovered that the film had striking similarities with Aarif Ali’s Lekar Hum Deewana Dil.
