Amy Adams may get ‘Story of Your Life’

Oscar award achiever Amy Adams is in discussions to star in a sci-fi thriller titled Story of Your Life, an adaptation of a short story by Ted Chiang. The story, published in 1999, won Nebula Award. Filmmaker Denis Villeneuve will be helming the project.

The movie revolves around an alien spacecraft that lands on earth. An expert linguist is hired to discover if the alien’s arrival is peaceful or they are a threat to mankind. The story moves on to solve many unknown questions. Scripting of the same is done by Eric Heisserer, while 21 Laps’ Shawn Levy Dan Levine, along with FilmNation and Lava Bear are financing it. As the film is in pre-production stage, nothing much is revealed. The actress lately working in American Hustle and she has two more projects in her kitty i.e. Big Eyes and Lullaby.
