Angelina Jolie, Ellen DeGeneres, Beyonce Knowles make it to Forbes' 100 Most Powerful Women List

The annual list of Forbes has been released for world's 100 most powerful women which features the fiercest females worldwide. A number of celebrities have made it to the list for the second time including Oprah Winfrey, Beyonce Knowles and Angelina Jolie. The list also includes stand-up comedian Ellen DeGeneres.

Jolie, who also serves as special envoy for the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), has taken No. 50 spot on the list while Beyonce has came at No. 17. This is also the 10th anniversary of the Forbes annual list and Oprah Winfrey stands at No. 14, Hilary Clinton at No. 6 and Melinda Gates at No. 3). From the entertainment industry the lucky ones are Ellen DeGeneres (No. 46), Shakira (No. 58) and Lady Gaga (No. 67). The No. 1 spot belongs to German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who has been in the list 10 times.
