Chris Pratt is set to star in Cowboy Ninja Viking

Chris Pratt of 'Guardians Of The Galaxy' and the upcoming 'Jurassic World' has reportedly been tapped to take the lead in Universal's comic book actioner 'Cowboy Ninja Viking.' In development for a number of years now, the film's script comes from Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese ('Zombieland'), and at one point had 'World War Z' helmer Marc Forster attached to direct.

The adaptation of Cowboy Ninja Viking is based on the graphic novel by A.J Lieberman and Riley Rossmo. The story centers around Duncan, a patient who suffers from multiple personality disorder that gets transformed by the government into a Triplet, an assassin that has three different personalities. He eventually breaks free from the programme and uses his skills to track down the billionaire that orchestrated this whole mess. There is talk that Chris Pratt will only play Duncan and not all three personalities. Cowboy Ninja Viking is currently in development and does not have a premiere date at the moment.
