Emilia Clarke: If You Hate Me, I Don't Need To Know

Game of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke recently shared her thoughts on social media and said that she never looks at the stuff people tag her in. She says that if there is something positive on social media, she will eventually get to know. The actress told Event Magazine that she never Google’s herself as she does not want to read any negative comments.

“I never look at the internet. I have a rule: I just don't Google myself. I'm on social media but I don't look at the stuff that other people tag me in because it messes me up. If you hate me, I don't need to know”, Emilia stated. She added that if there is something bad about her on the internet, her mom will probably tell her.

The Terminator Genisys actress also spoke about her late father and said that after his death, she had to re-evaluate who she is. “I need to be incredibly sure of the ground on which I'm standing, and I need to take ownership of the choices I'm making”, the actress shared. On the work front, Emilia can be seen in the ongoing series Game of Thrones, the first episode of which was aired on July 16. On the big screen, she was last seen in ‘Voice from the Stone’ and also has a few projects lined up, including the untitled Han Solo spin-off.
