    George Clooney Talks About Suburbicon, Calls It An Angry Movie For Angry Times

    George Clooney’s latest directorial titled ‘Suburbicon’ is competing for the Golden Lion prize at the Venice International Film Festival. Present at the event, the actor-director spoke about the movie and said that it is an angry film for angry times. Clooney also shared that this is probably the angriest he has seen his country.

    “A lot of us are angry - angry at ourselves, angry at the way that the country is going, angry at the way the world is going”, the Ocean’s Eleven actor stated. “It's probably the angriest I have ever seen the country, and I lived through the Watergate period of time. There is a dark cloud hanging over our country right no”, he added. Clooney explained that they wanted it to be funny, but it got angrier as they were shooting.

    Talking about his inspiration for the flick – Trump’s presidential campaign – the actor said that he was watching a lot of the speeches and started thinking about other times in history when the country has faced such circumstances. ‘Suburbicon’ stars Matt Damon, Oscar Isaac, Julianne Moore and Glenn Fleshler, along with others. The movie will be released on October 27.
