James Franco to star in own directional venture Garden of Last Days

The Golden Globes nominated Hollywood actor who shone in films likePineapple Express, Milkand127 Hours, James Franco is all set to have a multi-tasking job withGarden of Last Daysas he will be directing as well as acting in the film, at the same time.

ReportedlyGarden of Last Daysis an adaptation ofAndre Dubus III’s novel by the same name, which was written as a follow-up story toHouse of Sand and Fog. The story is based on"the lives of three deeply flawed, driven people", among whom a stripper brings her 3-year-old daughter to work.

It has been heard thatGarden of Last Dayswill undergo production from this July in New York.James Franco is presently busy with hisAs I Lay Dyingscreening plansat Cannes and he’s also working hard to finish off the adaptation of Cormac McCarthy'sChild of God.
