Jennifer And Ashley Tisdale To Produce Hybrid Comedy

Sisters Jennifer and Ashley Tisdale are all set to serve as the executive producer of a hybrid comedy in development at CBS. The script of the flick has been penned by Joanna Quraishi. The story of the movie revolves around a millennial woman, who visits Middle East in order to know its culture and her father’s family.

The Tisdale sisters will executive produce the film through their Blondie Girl Productions which will produce the project in association with Warner Bros. Television. Apart from writing, Joanna Quraishi will also serve as the co-executive producer of the movie. Quraishi is known for writing the scripts of Part Timers, Weird Loners and Swamp Talk with Shrek and Donkey.

She recently wrote the script for the CBS sitcom Kevin Can Wait. Ashley is popular for her role in the High School Musical franchise. She will be next seen in The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. Apart, she will also lend her voice to the animated series Phineas and Ferb. Jennifer, on the other hand, is known for appearing in shows like The Suite Life on Deck and the films The House Bunny and Bring It On: In It to Win It.
