Johnny Depp not to star in Black Mass any more

Some sad news is here for Johnny Depp’s fans who were looking forward to watch him using Boston accent in his upcoming flick Black Mass. The actor has quit the project which is a biopic of Boston mobster Whitey Bulger, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

It was the money bank which played the actual spoiler in the game. The agreement was originally signed for $20 million, the standard price of Depp. But after facing difficulties with marketing at Cannes, the budget was cut down by the film’s producers and Depp was urged to accept half of the money. It was a big and clear ‘no’ from the actor’s end and eventually he made an exit from the project. An immense disappointment for Depp fans undoubtedly.
