Kate Bush sets the record with 8 albums in top 40

English singer-songwriter, musician and record producer Kate Bush is the first lady to have eight albums in the charts simultaneously. According to reports, two of her albums are amongst the top 10 of the latest chart and eight albums on the whole in the top 40.

Martin Talbot, official Charts Company chief executive, said that Kate’s live shows had given rise to a new revolution, but for them to lend a hand to push her record to make such a noteworthy sales impression was an additional confirmation of the love that the British community had for Bush's music, beyond generations.

The 56-year-old Bush, who is known for ‘Wuthering Heights’, ‘Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)’, ‘Cloudbusting’ and many more,  comes third in the list of such musicians after Elvis Presley and the Beatles who had 12 entries in the crown 40.
