Deadline has reported that the team for ‘Maze Runner: The Death Cure’ will start shooting again. The cameras went offline for some time when lead actor Dylan O’Brien suffered an injury earlier this year. Now that he has fully recovered, the team has got back on track.

The sequel will be the third instalment in the franchise that started with the 2014 film ‘The Maze Runner’. The second part, ‘Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials’, was released in 2015. Both the films starred Dylan, Thomas Brodie-Sangster and Kaya Scodelario, who will be returning for the third part as well.

Like the previous two parts, ‘Maze Runner: The Death Cure’ will also be directed by Wes Ball. The franchise has been adopted from the YA novels of James Dashner. The screenplay will be written by T.S. Nowlin. It will follow the events set up by the previous two parts. The movie is expected to hit the screens on January 12, 2018.
