Michael Bay looks forward to Transformers trilogy in days ahead

Filmmaker Michael Bay is geared up to release his next, Transformers: Age of Extinction, this June. Now the filmmaker has confirmed that this will be the first film in a new Transformers trilogy.

He said, “It’s kind of like a new "Transformers". “We had three, the first trilogy, and this is going to be the next one,” he added further. The announcement for a new trilogy is an interesting turn in the Transformers’ franchise as the director decided to put an end to the same after Dark of the Moon’s release in 2011. Bay told at that time he won’t “necessarily” helm the fifth and sixth Transformers films but it’s a tale of the past now.
