The Monuments Men will now be released next year

George Clooney starrer The Monuments Men’s release date has been pushed to 2014 as the makers think that they need more time to complete hundreds of visual effects that are going to be the core element in the movie. It was expected that if the movie gets released this year then it might get a fair chance to grab the Oscar.

The Monuments Men is an upcoming drama, co-written, produced and directed by George Clooney, featuring Matt Damon, George Clooney, Bill Murray, John Goodman, Jean Dujardin, Bob Balaban, Hugh Bonneville and Cate Blanchett in the key roles. The film is an adaptation of a book, The Monuments Men: Allied Heroes, Nazi Thieves and The Greatest Treasure Hunt in History by Robert M. Edsel.
