    London Has Fallen, the sequel to Olympus Has Fallen, has got its official release date as October 2, 2015. Its U.S. distribution rights have been acquired by Focus Features. On this date 20th Century Fox’s Frankenstein will give a tough fight to this sequel at the box office as it will bow the very same day.

    London Has Fallen, which has not boarded any director so far, will have Gerard Butler once again, who was the male lead in the first instalment too. The plot is based in London when an attack grasps the city during the funeral of the British prime minister who has died a suspicious death. Butler will be seen as a U.S. Secret Service agent once again. The sequel’s script has been penned by Creighton Rothenberger, Katrin Benedikt and Christian Gudegast. In March 2013 Olympus Has Fallen was released and it grossed $98.9 million at the domestic box office.
