    Steven Spielberg withdraws from American Sniper

    Academy award winner Steven Spielberg has again dropped a project that he declared to be working on. Well, in the month of May, both Steven and Warner Bros. joined as co-producers ofAmerican Sniper that featuresBradley Cooper in the lead but now the news hovering is that the director has denied any further collaboration with the project based on Chris Kyle's autobiographyAmerican Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History.

    However it is said thatSpielberg’s vision was not aligning with the film’s budget, so he refused. It is not the first flick which he left in the middle. Before this, he went down a sci-fi fiction Robopocalypse based on Daniel H. Wilson’s novel by saying,"too important and the script is not ready, and it's too expensive to produce. It's back to the drawing board to see what is possible."

    His dropped movies also include Harvey, an adaptation of a prize winning play by Mary Chase. Meanwhile, Steven is left with no flick in his bucket but his works comprises of Schindler's List for which he won a total of 19 awards. Few more projects from his filmography takes account of The Adventures of Tintin, Lincoln, True Grit, The Pacific etc.
