Tom Cruise, Doug Liman Coming Together Again

The development of the forthcoming flick Luna Park will be assisted by actor Tom Cruise. Doug Liman who is developing the sci-fi movie has previously worked with the 53-year-old actor on Edge of Tomorrow and the upcoming drug-runner tale Mena. Tom Cruise might also star in the film.

The movie will focus on a group of former space workers and their journey to the moon in search of an energy source. For many years, the director has been trying to move the movie project forward with companies like DreamWorks and then Paramount. At that point, the cast for the movie was bringing together Jake Gyllenhaal, Chris Evans and Andrew Garfield, but that didn’t pan out.

The collaboration of Tom and Doug might just bring the project back on track. Tom was last seen in the fifth instalment of the Mission Impossible series. He will next be seen in Jack Reacker 2.
