    Two-time Academy winner Tom Hanks has revealed something, which normally celebrities don’t like to open up on. The 57-year-old, who earlier has commented that Life is like a box of chocolates, now has to be prudent while consuming it. The actor told in an interview that he is having diabetes.

    Hanks, while promoting biographical action thrillerCaptain Phillipsmentioned, "I went to the doctor, and he said, 'You know those high blood sugar numbers you've been dealing with since you were 36? Well, you've graduated! You've got Type 2 diabetes, young man'.” He further added to his statement that it’s controllable. The actor started his career in 1980 with He Knows You're Alone and is involved in upcoming projects entitled Captain Phillips, Walt Disney’s Saving Mr. Banks and Inferno, where he will be essaying a famous character Professor Robert Langdon.
