Twilight Saga star Peter Facinelli officially files for divorce from Jennie Garth

Twilight fame Peter Facinelli who portrayed Robert Pattinsons father, filed for divorce from wife Jennie Garth with whom he has three daughters. The actor also mentioned irreconcilable differences for their separation and wants a joint physical as well aslegal custody of his kids. Whereas, Garth stated in an interview to People magazine that she triedto save the marriage but Facinelli did not try. "He did what he needed to do. I dont want to walkfor him. Or Do I? Of course I wish he had wanted to try harder, try again, try something else,"she said. They got married in 2001 and announced their split early this month saying, "Whilewe have decided to end our marriage, we both share the same deep love and devotion to ourchildren."
