Filmmaker-scriptwriter David James Kelly is set to hold the pen for The Wolverine sequel. The writer has previously penned and directed short films like Stay Still and The Recruit. The X-Men franchise flick will be directed by James Mangold. It is also being said that Hugh Jackman will be reprising his role as Wolverine in the movie.
The Wolverine sequel is slated to hit screens on March 3, 2017. The film will go on the floors once the filming of X-Men: Apocalypse is done which will be out on May 27, 2016. Before this, another part of the series, X-Men: Days of Future Past will be released on May 23, this summer. It appears that the makers are all geared up to rule the ticket window in the coming years.
