5 Unthinkable Box Office Records Baahubali: The Conclusion May Set!

An opening of 75 crores

Any moderately budgeted Bollywood movie would find its way to the banks if it makes a lifetime collection of 75 crores. However with Baahubali 2, we are expecting an opening day collection of the same weightage. While the first part earned a massive 50 crores on its opening day, expecting the sequel to sail past 75 crore mark, may not really be a joke.

Entry in 100 Crore Club in Less Than 36 Hours

While we normally measure the pace of a successful movie by the number of days it takes to make 100 crores, with Baahubali the constraints should be in hours. The film is almost certain to cross the 100 crore mark on its second day itself and we won’t be surprised if the number is achieved on its second morning itself.

First Film To Touch The 1000 Crore Mark Worldwide

If the gross worldwide collections of Baahubali: The Beginning are to go by, the film touched a mammoth 650 crores. Even if we expect the second part to perform fairly better and raise its audience by 40 percent, the magical number of 1000 crores isn’t out of sight. While movies like PK, Dangal, Baahubali and Kabali are the highest grossers at international arena, it is almost certain Baahubali: The Conclusion will set new benchmarks since overseas audiences are waiting for the movie with bated breath.

Domestic Collections Between 400-500 Crores

When Aamir Khan’s Dangal progressively earned close to 390 crores through its theatrical run recently, it is only understandable Baahubali will eye a lot more. With as many as four mainstream versions of the film releasing across the country, the wide appeal of the movie may even take it beyond the 500 crore mark.

First Non Bollywood Film To Collect More Than 200 Crores

The first part taking each and every one of us by surprise made well over 100 crores and became the first South Indian film to have done so through its Hindi version. With Baahubali: The Conclusion, the possibilities are lot higher. Not only is the film creating enormous buzz in its core South Indian market, the Hindi audiences are as much excited about its arrival. Therefore, the possibility of the Hindi version making its way into the 200 crore club cannot be ruled out at all.

Nothing is unachievable when it comes to Baahubali & we know it bigtime!
