Another Setback For Mani Ratnam Project

Another Setback For Mani Ratnam Project

Yesterday it was reported that Keerthi Suresh has opted out of Mani Ratnam’s next. The actress met the director and explained her decision, she felt that her role was less important than the other female lead role. Now, the veteran director has suffered another major setback.

According to the reports, Karthi, who was reportedly playing one of the male leads in the film, is also out of the project. Reports suggest that the Komban actor could not allot the desired dates and will be busy in December, when the movie is expected to go on floors. In just two days two actors have left the project.

Reportedly, Dulquer Salmaan, who was earlier linked with the project and was replaced by Eega actor Nani, will return to the venture for the role of the male lead. Also, reports suggest that Saiyami Kher, who made her entry into Tollywood with Sai Dharam Tej's ‘Rey’, has been approached to play a cameo in the flick. The film is touted to be a romantic action drama and will feature Nithya Menen as one of the female leads.
