Bhaskar The Rascal To Be Remade In Tamil As Bhaskar Oru Rascal

Malayalam comedy family film Bhaskar The Rascal was a critically appreciated movie. It was a box office hit not only in India but also worldwide. Bhaskar The Rascal which hit the theatres in 2015 starred Mammootty and Nayantara in the lead.

And now it has been announced that the super hit film is all set to be remade in Tamil. The flick will be titled as Bhaskar Oru Rascal in Tamil. Actress Amala Paul and Arvind Swamy have roped in as the main leads, who will reprise Nayanthara and Mammootty’s characters, respectively. Both Amala and Arvind will play single parents in the movie.

The movie is expected to release in September. It will be directed by Siddhique, who also helmed the original. This will be his fourth directorial venture in Kollywood after Friends, Engal Anna and Kaavalan. Master Raghav will play Swamy’s son, while actress Meena’s daughter Baby Nainika, who gained popularity after Theri will play Amala’s daughter.
