Critic Go Out Of The Way To Run Uriyadi

Political thriller film, Uriyadi has garnered praises alike from fans and critics since its release on May 27. The flick is written-directed by debutant Vijay Kumar, which enthralled audiences with its hard hitting and raw drama. The film has unapologetic approach and digs the society’s shortcomings.

Recently, popular film critic Sethumadhavan went out of the way to make show run in a theatre by bringing extra tickets on May 29. He said that the incident took place at a single theatre called Aurora that is situated at Matunga, Mumbai. The instance was completely a sign that critics don’t just criticize movies, but actually make efforts to even appreciate and promote good movies.

Uriyadi never looked like it was from a first-time director and has proven to be a solid visionary with many more strong movies in making. The lead stars in the flick are Vijay Kumar, Mime Gopi, Citizen Sivakumar and Chandru Kumar. The music in the flick is given by Masala Coffee and cinematography by Paul Livingstone.
