Dhanush to Play Politician in His Next?

Actor, producer, singer Dhanush will be seen playing dual roles for the first time in his career for his next project which will be a political thriller. The talented actor has teamed up with director R. S. Durai Senthilkumar for his next. The news was confirmed by Dhanush himself on his micro-blogging page.

A source told The Times of India (TOI), "Dhanush plays two brothers in the film. The elder brother is a politician while the younger one is a local boy. Shamilee is paired opposite the younger brother. For the politician's pair, the team had initially approached Vidya Balan, but she couldn't accept the film because of date issues. Now, they are trying to rope in Lakshmi Menon for the role".

The shoot of the film is all set to begin in October, when the actor gets free from his commitments. It is expected that the project will be completed by the end of December. Dhanush is currently busy with the Prabhu Solomon film.
