‘I’ Makes it to 100 crore club

Shankar's magnum opus 'I' has been doing good business. The film starring Vikram and Amy Jackson in lead roles has reportedly managed to collect a whopping 100 crores gross worldwide in its first week itself.

Shankar released his much awaited dream project 'I' on the auspicious occasion of Pongal with the hope that it will give a whole new experience with high-octane action. However, reports followed that the film did not meet its expectations. News were also doing the rounds that other than Vikram’s make-up, the movie has no interesting ingredient. But, brushing everything aside, the film showed a terrific performance in the state. The film also fared well in non-Tamil speaking states like Kerala and Andhra Pradesh. The romantic thriller flick managed to keep up a good stride in Hindi too.
