‘Kanithan’ To Lock Horns With ‘Aarathu Sinam’ This Friday

This Friday Kollywood will witness an interesting clash at the box office. Atharvaa starrer ‘Kanithan’ and Arulnithi starrer ‘Aarathu Sinam’ will directly clash at the box office. Both the films will hit the theatre screens on February 26.

‘Kanithan’ has been helmed by director T. N. Santhosh and is touted to be a crime thriller. It features Catherine Tresa as the female lead and has music by Sivamani. Atharvaa would be looking to make this film a bigger hit than his last offering ‘Eetti’. S. Thanu has bankrolled the venture under V. Creations banner. The teaser of Vijay’s ‘Theri’ will also be screened with the film in the theatres.

This week’s other release ‘Aarathu Sinam’ has been directed by Arivazhagan. The story of the film has been penned by Jeethu Joseph of Drishyam fame. The film also features Aishwarya Rajesh, Aishwarya Dutta and Anupama Kumar in prominent role. N. Ramasamy has been funded the film under Sri Thenandal Films banner and it has music by S. Thaman.
