Khushi 2 Becomes Vijay 60?

As per the latest reports, Vijay’s 60^th film will be a sequel to Khushi. Earlier, the rumours stated that Vijay 60 will be directed by S.J. Surya, who has narrated a number of scripts to the actor. Then, there were reports claiming that the film will be produced by Chandraprakash Jain. Everything seems to connect now.

Khushi was a Tamil comedy by Surya, which released in 2000. The film starred Vijay and Jyothika in lead roles. Mumtaj, Vivek and Vijayakumar were also part of the film, who played supporting roles. The film was successful at the box office and was remade in Telugu and Hindi.

Currently, Vijay is busy shooting for his 59^th project that stars Samantha and Amy Jackson as female leads. Vijay is playing the role of a police officer in the film. Vijay 59 is helmed by Atlee and produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu.
