Mariyaan’s first single track Nenjae Ezhu launched

The celebrated music composer A. R. Rahman who is known worldwide for his excellence in music direction has crooned for a song in the much-anticipated film Mariyaan and the song Nenjae Ezhu has been released.

The other tracks in the Mariyaan album are Innum Konja Neram, Netru Aval Irundhal, Sonapareeya, Yenga Pona Raasa, I Love My Africa and Kadal Raasa Naan. The leading actor of the film by Bharat Bala, Dhanush has also written lyrics for one of the songs in the album. Dhanush will be seen as a construction fisherman while Parvathi Menon plays his love interest as Panimalar. The film is based on a real set-up of a crisis moment of 2008 and narrates the story of survival of human beings. The film has been shot in Namibia for a major section.
