Nannbenda gets censor nod with ‘U’ certification

Nannbenda - a Tamil romantic comedy film written and directed by Jagadish - has received the ‘U’ certificate by the Censor Board of India.

The film, set for release on April 2, features Udhayanidhi Stalin and Film Fare Award winner Nayantara in the lead roles. The movie was announced in July 2013, when the Red Giant Movies owner had revealed that he would produce and act in Nannbenda alongside Santhanam. Sherin, who is making her comeback in Tamil cinema after a 4-year sabbatical, will be seen playing a crucial role. The flick also features Karunakaran, Pooja Ramachandran and Suzane George, along with the Kanden Kadhalai actress, Tamannaah, in a cameo.

Vivek Harshan has edited the rom-com, whereas  Balasubramaniem has done cinematography for it. Harris Jayaraj has composed the music  album and background score for Nannbenda.
